1,100 Electric Taxi - A Pilot Project In Lahore
The Government of Punjab aims to promote electric vehicles eco system by distributing 1,100 electric vehicles in Lahore to encourage e-mobility.
Maximum Vehicle Cost Limit for Bank Financing: PKR 6,500,000 / Vehicle
Corporate / Fleet Owners:
Minimum 10 E-Taxis for each applicant.
5 years interest-free installments
E-Taxi model selection from the list available on portal.
30% Equity by the Applicant, GoPb will contribute in Equity by
10-50 E-Taxis: 40% of equity
>50 E-Taxis: 30% of equity
Installation of tracker & panic button
Electric Taxis will be branded as per design approved by the Government of Punjab.
Battery and Motor warranty valid upto 300,000 km or 6 years, whichever comes first.
Individual Owner:
One (1) E-Taxi per applicant.
5 years interest-free installments
E-Taxi model selection from the list available on portal.
30% Equity by the Applicant, GoPb will contribute in Equity by
50% of equity for males
60% of equity for females
